While it remains to be seen if the situation in Tbilisi will cool down after the government announced it would withdraw the proposed law that organizers claimed as the reason for the protest, US and EU opposition to any laws that constrain their ability to exercise soft power in other countries stands in stark contrast to their own such laws which are, BTW, more restrictive and more punitive than the laws they complain of. One target of such hypocrisy is Nicaragua. Don DeBar has more.
