'Functional Flexibility' - Our countdown to Therapy Expo 2023 continues, chatting LIVE with speakers who will be presenting in the STA Update Theatre.
In this episode, special guest Sonia Fierro of 'Recover Stronger' talks to us about her up & coming presentation 'Functional Flexibility' that is happening in the STA Update Theatre at Therapy Expo, 11.30am on Day 2:
"Flexibility is one of the foundational components of movement and any activity; however, flexibility training is commonly misunderstood and its practice and prescription based on myths and generalisations. My practical session in the STA Update Theatre will build on the principles presented in my "Flexibility isn't dead" talk (Theatre B, 22 Nov 2023, 4 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.); it will analyse case studies with examples from different sports and give the audience the opportunity to put theories into action to gain a deeper understanding of how to use flexibility within the rehab context."
