In this week’s Moviecast, we take a look at some highly anticipated movies and TV shows for 2017 and beyond. Is the DC universe really in trouble? Should it be? Meanwhile, the MCU keeps trucking along even though Benedict Cumberbatch is so busy he needs a stand-in for Infinity War? On Marvel’s TV side, The Defenders gets a release month and will take place months after Daredevil Season 2. Don’t expect a crossover between the MCU and the Netflix universe, though, as Kingpin himself says it’s unlikely. Finally, in other TV news, GoT prequels may be in the works for HBO.
