The full slate of games in J1 Matchday 28 delivered an incredible amount of terrific goals, late drama, and, once again, VAR controversy.
We begin with new leaders Hiroshima, who proved they have the mettle to stick around in the title race with a gritty win against the odds at home against Shimizu (to 13:10), before we welcome Stuart Woodward back to the pod after his Yokohama F.Marinos side were pegged back and had to settle for a 2-2 draw away at FC Tokyo (to 40:30).
Then we roll through the rest of the top flight games, with some huge results - some good (Shonan, Kyoto, Iwata), some not so good (Gamba, Kobe) - down in the relegation dogfight, and the controversial Fukuoka vs Nagoya game that had pretty much everything.
