Makini Smith ”Swindled By Deception and Fraud”

Today is a solo episode to bring awareness to women being swindled by deception and fraud. Even if you have not had this experience, you may know someone that has or presently is and this information could save their life. It was inspired by the Netflix documentary The Tinder Swindler.

The documentary tells the story of the Israeli conman Simon Leviev who used the dating application Tinder to connect with individuals who he then emotionally manipulated into financially supporting his lavish lifestyle on the pretence he needed the money to escape his "enemies." Posing as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul, he wooed women online then conned them out of millions of dollars.
