Since 2 Peter 2:1 is probably the single strongest verse used against the position of particular redemption we thought it might be useful to spend some extended time looking at what this text is really saying in its context. We must remember that virtually all true theological positions have biblical texts that at least superficially appear to contradict them on first glance, but confirm them upon further study. We believe this is true regarding 2 Peter 2!
