Formed in the back room of a London fashion store as the brainchild of Malcolm McLaren sometime in 1975 and initially lasting just two and a half years, the Sex Pistols were one of the most groundbreaking acts in the history of music. They were responsible for kicking off the Punk scene in the United Kingdom and inspiring absolutely loads of following budding musicians (?) to ply their trade.
So what better way to look at their debut & only album than by welcoming our old mate and Pistols Uber-fan Ning back to the pod. We take a dive into what music was being peddled to the masses at the time, uncover stories from the early Sex Pistols days and discuss what the band members went onto after they imploded.
Please take a second to rate and review the Personal Jukebox on Spotify or Apple, we would super appreciate it! Got any questions about the things we’ve covered in the show?
