APB, a band from East L.A., was led by Aaron Ballesteros who's best known as the drummer for Tierra and many other top Chicano/Latino artists. On APB’s recordings, made between 2004 and 2013, Aaron was producer, arranger, chief songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Due to Aaron’s health issues, Mark interviews his son Adam on his father’s behalf. Also interviewed on the show are two members of APB, guitarist Dennis Alvarez and vocalist Gilbert Stokes. APB’s style of music includes elements of rock, R&B, Latin, and ballads. Aaron and Gilbert also played and recorded with El Chicano in the early 80s.
