THE NEW REPUBLICAN PARTY PLATFORM IS A MIRROR IMAGE OF TRUMP (FOR BETTER OR WORSE)

Donald J. Trump is completely reshaping the Republican party into his image (for better or worse depending on your opinion), the new Republican party official platform moved closer to the center with supporting gay marriage for the first time ever as well as not pursuing a national abortion ban and respecting the supreme courts decision to let states make the decision on abortion. It's created a bit of a civil war between the Evangelical conservatives and what I call the "Barstool, Small government conservatives".
