Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly says tomorrow’s meeting between the EU and UK on the Northern Ireland protocol is a positive step. The EU’s Brexit negotiator Maroš Šefčovič is due to meet the British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly in Brussels tomorrow (Thursday 15th).
Sean Kelly believes there is room for the EU to compromise on some of the British concerns over the protocol.
