Bill D'Andrea joins the podcast to talk about being inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame and gives his recollections of being Javis Austin's lone link back to Clemson after Austin's attempted suicide in 1999 (Austin earned his degree several years later). D'Andrea also shares where he was when he heard Danny Ford was done at Clemson -- in Bethlehem, Pa., having secured a commitment from a defensive lineman named Dwayne Johnson (yes, the same Dwayne Johnson who would go on to become The Rock). Johnson ended up at Miami, and D'Andrea ended up leading Clemson's foray into academic support for athletes as the head of Vickery Hall. D'Andrea also reflects on the details of Oliver Purnell's abrupt departure from Clemson for DePaul in 2010.
