Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution
Kids & Family:Parenting
How should homeschool families engage in the culture war?
Yvette Hampton speaks with Tim Barton, President of WallBuilders, about the importance of Christians getting involved in political and social issues. They discuss topics like the 1619 project, critical race theory, cancel culture, and the history of religious education in America. Tim emphasizes the need for Christians to take action, equip the next generation, and promote righteousness in society. He shares from his experience of homeschooling his children and using original sources to understand the ideals, goals, and principles of the American founding. As Tim walks through a museum, he highlights the evolution of American education, from the Old Deluder Satan Act to the removal of religion from schools in the 1960s. Listeners will leave this episode feeling informed and inspired to take bold steps in promoting truth and righteousness in today's society.
