B.F.F. team, Boy Mom's and owners of The Barrre Code's Metro Detroit locations in Royal Oak, Birmingham, and Rochester Hills walk us through life in the fitness industry. To start off this episode Lindsey gives us some insight on what started her venture into the fitness industry, spending a couple years in corporate America she quickly learned the culture was not for her. After out-weighing several options including becoming a professional dog walker Lindsey knew the fitness industry was where she wanted to focus, but first she needed her BFF Janell who currently resided on the other side of the country. She hopped on a plane to California, convinced Janell of her vision to use fitness as a vehicle to inspire and empower women within their everyday lives, and brought Janell home to bring the franchise The Barre Code to Metro Detroit. In this episode this powerhouse mom duo teach us how to navigate through franchise ownership, the many benefits of meditation, balancing their new roles as "Mom", and most importantly how fulfilling your passion far exceeds the joy of profits.
