Calls for Tuam Relief Road to be made a priority

Tuam's Relief Road must be made a priority for the sake of the town's development.

That's according to local TD Sean Canney who says the town has been growing in recent years, with the Tuam By-Pass and major investments in healthcare and in retail

In addition, in the near future, Tuam will see a new 32 classroom National School, and amalgamated secondary schools

The relief road would link Bishop Street to the Dublin Road, Athenry Road and out to the Galway Road.

Deputy Canney explains how the town and its people would benefit from the infrastructure which must be prioritised by the county council.
