Delta Green “Operation Chopstick Headcount” Chapter 1: Invitation to the Alzabo

 

When freelance journalist and Delta Green asset “Mike Diana” is summoned off his couch and into a bespoke Manhattan limousine, it feels at first like just another strange assignment. Armed with a forged identity, a crumpled (and carefully restored) invitation, and his own charm, he’s sent to infiltrate an exclusive high-society dinner hosted by the enigmatic Megan Brennan.

As the limo climbs toward a windswept estate, Mike finds himself surrounded by wealthy socialites who seem a little too practiced at playing their parts. Inside the mansion’s parlor—amid rare art, unsettling relics, and a bar stocked with unfamiliar liquor—the mood tilts from glamorous to quietly unnerving. Names shift, mannerisms change, and the evening’s “wisdom of the Alzabo” begins to feel like more than just a poetic phrase on an invitation.

About the Chronicle

Operation Chopstick Headcount is a Delta Green duet scenario featuring Mitch as Agent “Mike Diana,” a gossip-chasing New York reporter drafted into the program, and Adam as the Handler. This story follows Mike as he goes undercover at an elite, invitation-only dinner party where memory, identity, and appetite blur together in dangerous ways. It’s a standalone Delta Green experience within the Twin Cities by Night lineup, showcasing personal horror, covert investigation, and the quiet dread of realizing you might be on the menu.
