C.J. Wise, Salina Police Chief

In February of 2023, The City of Salina selected C.J. Wise, of Edmond, Okla., to be the new police chief. Wise's over 28 years of experience in areas such as K-9, SWAT, detective, drug enforcement, and internal investigations. Our conversation touched on several community concerns including the drug enforcement task force, police officer shortage, homelessness and his first impressions of Salina.
