Jim Brock has been teaching poetry, literature, and writing at Florida Gulf Coast University since 1998, after having been something of an academic Kelly Girl before that, teaching at universities in Indiana, Tennessee, Idaho, Pennsylvania, and Miami, before landing in Fort Myers. A nationally-award-winning poet, Jim’s now retired from the poetry-writing gig to pursue life on the stage. His current projects involve playwriting and performing…he’s a founding member of Ghostbird Theatre Company in Fort Myers.
