The College Success Habits Podcast
Education:Self-Improvement
Ep #24 - In today's episode we discuss experiencing life and knowing when you are done experiencing something.
You want to experience everything college has to offer - that is the essence of college and on a broader scale - life. There are a variety of experiences we can have with our lives. Doing the same thing, all the time limits you and definitely keeps you in your comfort zone.
When you change you have two valid, real experiences - that of doing it and that of not doing it - and you can always go back.
- know when to step into something new so you can gain that experience
- know when to say, "I have experienced this enough."
Knowing when to quit something is as important as experiencing something. It's in that "knowing" it has been experienced to it's fullest that you can say goodbye to it.
What are you done doing? What are you fulfilled with? Sugar, changing jobs, dating, managing addictions, etc.
What have you always wanted to try? to do?
Make a choice for you and not against you.
You are not missing out on anything if you decide you are done and complete with that.
There is an openness you can have or a closed-ness, a toward vs away energy.
