Brad bumps into Rory Hunter and Josh Johnson out on the long run at Mulligans.
Julian has a very quiet night in before pacing the 2:30 group at Melbourne Marathon.
Brady sets some boys up for 2:20 before driving the 2:30 pace at the Melbourne Marathon.

Timothy Rohnoh wins the Nike Melbourne Marathon in 2:09:12, setting a course record and the first sub 2:10 in the event’s history. Reece Edwards was first Australian home in 2:14:41, taking third overall. Beatrice Cheptoo won the marathon in 2:27:58, just in front of Izzi Batt-Doyle who ran the fastest debut by an Australian in 2:28:10.

Half Marathon won by Jack Rayner ahead of Matt Clare, and Jess Stenson ahead of Rose Davies. The 10K was won by Caitlin Adams and Dale Carrol.

Brett Robinson runs 2:09:52 to take 8th place in the London Marathon, becoming the 6th fastest all time and the 6th to go under 2:10. Ed Goddard was unfortunately unable to finish, while previous guest Krishna Stanton set a new age group record for W55-59 running 2:48:06. Amos Kipruto won outright in 2:04:39 while Kenenisa Bekele 2:05:53 in 5th for the Masters record. Yalemzerf Yehaulaw of Ethiopia won in 2:17:26 after stumbling in a fall earlier.

Recorded live at Concrete Boots on Sunday afternoon, Brady and Julian are joined Matt Clarke, Steeplechaser in the 2020 Olympics who ran 1:03:26 to come second place in the Melbourne Half Marathon, to chat about his motivation for getting into the longer distances, recapping his battle against eventual winner Jack Rayner, staying with steeplechase for now and how moving to Adelaide from Melbourne improved running culture between the two

Moose and Brady then recap their morning, as well as the impact of the congestion caused by the marathon and half marathon merging together. The boys then wrap up answering some listener questions about recovery, balancing high mileage and reloading for the next race.
