No one ever decided to run a marathon without a plan.  A training plan that breaks down each week into a certain number of runs and specific distances.  A plan that guarantees if you follow it you can achieve your goal.

We don't often have such elaborate plans devised to meet our goals.

But maybe we should.  To we ponder this....
