Yet there's a quiet confidence that comes with being an introvert. Introversion is positively correlated with being gifted or intelligent.
It's so important to understand that safety in a psychological manner is more important than physical safety. The wounds that happen when we are not psychologically safe or that trigger our fight or flight response can downgrade our functioning.
If you are an extrovert, consider how to create psychological safety for introverts. If you are an introvert, share these tips with your extroverted friends and family.
We should work together with increased awareness and understanding so everyone feels heard and cared about and our gifts can come to the table.
