Number 27: Misunderstood Vibrations

Brian Eno supposedly said that even though hardly anybody bought records by the Velvet Underground when they were first released, everybody who did started a band of their own. Undoubtedly most of those bands sucked. Fortunately, the Rain Parade and the Long Ryders did not. It's also fortunate that the members of those acts bought a lot of other records too, and had styles of their own. In an installment of More Lost Time that showcases the so-called Paisley Underground, music includes rare tracks by those bands as well as Steve Wynn, Green on Red, True West and others.
