National Security Cuts

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Congress is poised to make cuts in our national security capabilities of a kind and magnitude unseen in decades.  The top leaders of our armed forces told Congress yesterday that we are reaching the point of cutting into the military’s muscle and bone.  This would be a bad idea under the best of circumstances, but as the recent Iranian plot to blow up targets in Washington, D.C. underscores, these aren’t the best of circumstances.  The world in fact is a dangerous place and is becoming more so by the day and our perceived weakness, irresolution and withdrawal from international hotspots, only makes it more so for our interests and allies and for us. Every American has a stake in this momentous decision.  Let your representatives know that you want them to uphold their constitutional duty to provide for the common defense.
