They’re Baaack!!

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. They’re baaack.  The mullahs of Iran are back in the business of seizing and pillaging foreign embassies. In 1979, Ayatollah Khomeini’s so-called “students” stormed our embassy in Tehran, seizing scores of American hostages and humiliating our nation.  Ignoring its responsibility to protect  diplomatic missions, the Iranian regime actually applauded what were, in fact, its agents. Yesterday, the British embassy in Iran was given the same treatment by more of these irregulars chanting “Death to Britain.” The next embassy to be sacked by Iranian thugs will probably be America’s newest and most costly – Embassy Baghdad – when Iran fills the vacuum after the U.S. military pulls out of Iraq at year’s end.  If that ignominy is to be avoided, Iran had better, finally pay a real cost for its nasty habit of sacking foreign embassies.
