Gitmo Prison 10 Years Later

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Ten years ago today, the United States began using a modest American outpost on the tip of Cuba to house some of the world’s most dangerous jihadists.  Since then, Guantanamo Bay – or Gitmo – has been vilified by Islamists around the world and their many friends on the political Left, here and abroad.  So have the brave men and women who incarcerate Gitmo’s detainees at great risk to their reputations and even their lives. President Obama made directing Gitmo’s closure one of his first official acts.  Fortunately, he has been thwarted by Congress from eliminating this vital facility. Unfortunately, Mr. Obama is still at it.  He has been releasing  detainees to Saudi Arabia and Yemen and many are back in the fight.  He mustn’t be allowed now to do the same for the Taliban.  This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.  Learn more at SecureFreedomRadio.com
