This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Did you hear the weather report? I am not talking about the local one. The one you really need to be paying attention to comes from space. On Sunday, the largest solar eruption in six years occurred. If that seems pretty far away from you, the radiation and charged particles thus unleashed are headed here. And they could be far more devastating to us than any hurricane, tornado, drought or blizzard. The problem is that our electrical grid and electronic devices have not been protected against the effects of such solar storms. They can potentially disrupt our power infrastructure – and all that depends upon it – possibly for years. More such intense solar storms are headed our way.
