This week we were excited to have a full studio with three wonderful guests! Audrey Slade with Young Issaquah Professionals, part of the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, joined us to announce this month’s Cash Mob business. The Cash Mob program selects one business per month to “infuse with cash” and give devoted attention to. This month’s business is Sisters Antiques in Issaquah! Join Audrey and Kim Wednesday, May 23rd from 4-7pm to show support to this amazing business! Sisters Antiques: 615 NW Gilman Blvd, Issaquah, WA.
We spent the rest of the hour talking with Kerry Beymer and Helene Wenting from Encompass in North Bend. Encompass offers a nationally accredited preschool, parenting classes, summer camps, and much more to children and families. Kerry teaches Parenting Counts classes at Swedish Hospital in Issaquah. These classes are free and there is childcare provided to those who need it. The next class is May 21st, so log on to www.encompassnw.org to register today! Helene told us about Sip Fest happening May 18th from 6:30-9:30pm at Pickering Barn in Issaquah, where parents over twenty-one can taste wine, beer, and food while enjoying a relaxing night off. We also learned a little about One Voice which will be taking place June 2nd. More details about all of these events and the wonderful programs Encompass has to offer can be found on their website, www.encompassnw.org.
