Unilateral Disarmer-in-Chief

President Obama is in the midst of an exceedingly close race for reelection.  Yet, he is poised at this juncture to announce a further, possibly unilateral and certainly massive reduction in U.S. nuclear forces. Mr. Obama evidently thinks that the American people are indifferent to his dismantling of the ultimate guarantor of our national security.  That’s all the more amazing since he is taking such risks as nuclear threats grow, from Iran to North Korea, from China to Pakistan.  Just last week, Russia flew 2 strategic bombers into U.S. air space in a simulated nuclear attack on our country. The good news, if there is any, is that the President’s ideological radicalism is on display now.  And that the American people have an opportunity to reject it come November.
