Obama’s Warning

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Former constitutional law professor Barack Obama sure has played fast-and-loose with the rule of law in this country. The latest example is a directive from his Labor Department telling defense contractors they don’t need to warn as many one million employees they may face lay-offs on January 2nd. This would allow Team Obama to pretend until after the election that there will be no problem for the affected families and the national economy. It’s saying never mind the law that requires at least 60 days notice be given – namely, a few days before November 6th – since Congress may yet act to prevent the cuts. But it can’t without Mr. Obama’s help. And he’s willing to defy the law to keep voters clueless about the nature and impact of his defense wrecking operation.
