Egypt’s ”Retaliation”

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Islamists tried to attack Israel from the Sinai earlier this week, killing sixteen Egyptian border troops in the process. Egypt’s new Muslim Brotherhood president vowed revenge. And state media claimed twenty insurgents were killed in retaliation. Yet, when a National Public Radio reporter visited the area yesterday, she found that nobody had actually been targeted, let alone killed, by the Egyptian military. Whats up with that? In short, Israel now faces threats not just from Islamists in the Sinai, but from those running the government of Egypt. The latter may condemn the former in order to secure even more from Uncle Sam than the $1.5 billion Team Obama recently provided.
