Jesus the Mystic

The “lost” gospels of Thomas, Philip and Mary Magdalene are more than varying versions of the four gospels we know from the New Testament. They present the teachings of Jesus as a mystical path of love and personal empowerment, rather than a hierarchical path of fear and obedience. Rev. Ed Townley is visiting Unity of Wimberley this week to fill in for Rev. Ellen Debnport, who is on a one month sabbatical. Rev.
