Syria’s Chemical Weapons

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Suddenly, there’s a new “red line” that could thrust the United States into war with Syria, and perhaps others. President Obama declared yesterday that “there would be enormous consequences if we start seeing movement on the chemical weapons front, or the use of chemical weapons.” He added: “We cannot have a situation where biological or chemical weapons are falling in the hands of the wrong people." The trouble is that such weapons are in the hands of the wrong people now, namely one of the most dangerous regimes on the planet. And there is every likelihood that, if Team Obama has its way, they will fall into the hands of still more ominous ones when the Assad regime is supplanted by the Muslim Brotherhood and perhaps al Qaeda.
