Debate Postmortem

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Last night’s presidential debate provided fresh evidence of two dangerous facets of this election cycle: Barack Obama’s willingness to say – and do – anything to secure reelection, and the media’s determination to help him get away with it. Asked about the murderous attack in Libya last month, Mr. Obama lied outright, claiming that he had immediately described it as an act of terrorism.  When Governor Romney correctly observed that, actually, the President had insisted repeatedly that it was a response to an offensive video, CNN’s Candy Crowley intervened.  She wrongly asserted that, on the morning after, Barack Obama had depicted it as terrorism. We need the truth about the dangerous world we inhabit and what is being done by our own government and its shills in the media to make it more so.
