The reason that the heart is the perfect symbol for love is because our ability to give or to receive love has to begin inside of us, at the core of our being. If someone feels that they don’t have enough love in their life, it isn't because they aren't letting it in. It’s because they aren't letting it out. We have to give before we can receive.
