Right to Know

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Hillary Clinton is expected to make her final congressional appearance as Secretary of State tomorrow. She will be testifying about the attack on US forces in Benghazi, Libya last September. Legislators will likely focus on her role in the failure to secure the facility, and to tell the truth about what happened during and after the murder of our ambassador and three others.

Mrs. Clinton must also be asked about who is responsible for devising and executing the policy that gave rise to that disaster, namely the policy of engaging, legitimating, powering, funding, and arming Islamists. Does she now think we should persist in this folly despite its obvious failure and growing costs? The American people have a need to know the answers to such questions. Congress has a duty to ensure they are asked.
