Filibuster Hagel

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is forcing a vote tomorrow on Chuck Hagel's nomination to be the next Secretary of Defense. Fortunately, that means he'll need sixty votes to be confirmed.  Never before has this been necessary to fill the job of Pentagon chief. But then, there has never before been a nominee so dangerously ill-suited and inappropriate for that post. Despite Hagel's transparently false representations during his confirmation hearing, he has a long record of support for Iran and engaging other Islamists - including terrorist groups - but treating our ally, Israel, with contempt.  He has favored unilateral U.S. denuclearization and further hollowing out of our military. If this doesn't sound like a man you want running our national security, tell your Senators to oppose Harry Reid's efforts to make that disaster happen.
