This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Twenty years ago today, six Americans lost their lives and over 1,000 more were wounded by the first major act of violent jihad on U.S. soil.  Terrorists tried to topple one tower of New York's landmark World Trade Center into the other.  Sound familiar? Tragic as that incident was, even more of a tragedy is how little we have learned in the two decades since.  Far too many of our leaders and countrymen remain largely clueless about what the Obama administration euphemistically calls "violent extremism." We must understand that we confront the latest in a series of supremacist, totalitarian ideologies - this one's adherents call it shariah.  And, twenty years on, it's high time we start countering their efforts to impose it upon us through both violent and stealthy forms of jihad.
