Shariah’s Jihad in London

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. By now, you have probably seen the video of two jihadists fresh from butchering a British soldier yesterday in south London.  Needless to say, the images of this savagery are shocking. But so are the efforts being made to dissemble about the impetus behind this atrocity in a Western capital.  Islamists and their apologists would have us believe it has nothing to do with the tenets of shariah - the supremacist Islamic doctrine that impels jihad. In fact, the perpetrators shouted "Allahu akbar" - the jihadist's invocation of God's will - as they hacked away at their victim.  Then, one cited to bystanders Koranic passages justifying their murderous violence. Make no mistake:  This is the face of shariah and it is past time that we recognize it as such, and take steps to counter it.
