Nuclear Delusions

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. In Berlin today, President Obama will invite Russia once again to join him in what he likes to call "ridding the world of nuclear weapons."  This is simply a non-starter since Vladimir Putin is actually aggressively building up Russia's nuclear arsenal, not eliminating it. Mr. Obama is, consequently, deceptively engaging in what amounts to the unilateral disarmament of the United States.  Not only is he planning to reduce the number of American nuclear weapons to the lowest levels in decades, with or without the Russians. Worse yet, he is refusing to modernize what is left of our nuclear stockpile and its associated delivery systems, undermining its credibility and effectiveness.  Far from a world without nuclear weapons, such U.S. behavior is certain to encourage allies, as well as enemies, to proliferate them further.
