my guest for episode 201 is celebrity chef, monica pope! i have been a fan of monica's since i saw her on "top chef masters" a few years ago and then ate at one of her restaurants in houston soon after. i was inspired and blown away by her soulful and artistic approach to cooking. food that isn't only delicious, it's thoughtful. monica had us (skyrocket) over for dinner at her restaurant, sparrow, before our show at the continental club and it was DELICIOUS! i really enjoyed talking to monica. her spirit is inspiring, she's set out to change the way houston eats and she's succeeding and her cooking is truly artistic and absolutely delicious. i hope you enjoy our conversation. i did.
