Ted Cruz’s Finest Hour

Senate Republican leaders are furious with one of their most junior colleagues, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. For one thing, he’s embarrassed them by being – literally – a stand-up guy for millions of Americans opposed to Obamacare. In fact, for over twenty-one hours, Sen. Cruz stood up against this plan to socialize America’s health care system.

The Senate Republican establishment is even more angry with Ted Cruz because he has demonstrated a quality of scrappy, principled leadership too often absent in what passes for the Loyal Opposition. And worst of all, they know the American people are increasingly disgusted with that establishment.

A critical vote for Obamacare is taking place today. If you haven’t already done so, urge your Senators to stand with Senator Cruz. And if you have, please do it again.
