Funding Violent Extremism

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

Last week, your tax dollars were put to work countering what the Obama administration calls “violent extremism.” Secretary of State John Kerry has announced that the United States will make at least a $2 million contribution to the so-called “Global Fund for Community Engagement and Resilience.”
Other donors will be Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Unfortunately, they are among the prime underwriters of the world’s champions at violent extremism.

Look no further than Syria, where today the Turks, the Saudis and the Qataris are fueling the rise of al Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamists who seek to impose by force their repressive shariah law over all Syrians – including Christians.

We have switched sides in the War for the Free World and it will mean more “violent extremism,” not less.
