We’re Here to Kill Americans

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

“We’re here to kill Americans.” According to CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” that’s what the jihadists who attacked the U.S. mission in Benghazi last year told Libyans who were supposed to help protect it. The Libyans were beaten; four Americans were murdered.

That phrase pretty much captures what Islamists have in mind for the rest of us, too. Their supremacist doctrine of shariah commands them to kill infidels who don’t submit to Islam. If they are not stopped, more Americans will die.

Don’t count on stopping them if, as former Vice President Dick Cheney put it yesterday: “Our friends no longer count on us, no longer trust us and our adversaries don’t fear us.” If we are to survive, let alone defeat, the jihadists’ murderous designs, we must turn around such perceptions.
