He is also the developer of the FloWalking method of healthy walking. Dr. Nirenberg is one of a handful of practicing forensic podiatrists in the world. As a forensic podiatrist, he is called upon to assist law enforcement in analyzing foot and walking related evidence at crime scenes, including homicides. He has delivered lectures to law enforcement, forensic scientists, podiatrists, the Department of Homeland Security, and others. His scientific paper “Forensic Methods and the Podiatric Physician,” published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, won the prestigious Distinguished Podiatric Writing Award.
