The Night the Music Died: Transmission 80, 2013 December 4

I looked forward to this program, and revel in it retrospectively. That's a win-win! "For Ladies Only," tonight's "Physical Evidence" courtesy of Killdozer, is a straight-up classic, and my only regret about this show is that there wasn't time for one last song.

Did mistakes happen? Oo ya, you betcha. Do I care? I am going full-on Lou Reed, as interpreted by Steve Albini. I am just very anxious to play Killdozer, and that spills over, both early and late. Lady Catharsis was in a non-hacking mood this week and chose two songs that I love, including one by Hall of Legends inductees Stereolab, who have been in the "news" lately. I wonder what Pharrell Williams thinks of "Changer." Wait, no I do not.
