Surrendering to Iran

The Iranian regime is crowing about its new deal with the United States and five other powers. The so-called “moderate” president of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, declared recently that the “agreement means the big powers’ surrender to the great Iranian nation.”

Team Obama would have us believe otherwise. Such comments are mere propaganda, we’re assured, meant to dissuade the deal’s “hardline” critics in Iran.

But is this propaganda, or the truth?

Iranian negotiator, Abbas Araqchi, explains why the deal really is a disaster for the West: “No facility will be closed; enrichment will continue, and qualitative and nuclear research will be expanded. All research into a new generation of centrifuges will continue.”

Team Obama’s refusal to disclose the actual terms of the agreement only reinforces suspicions that the Iranians are right.
