32 Foundational Series: Are you SICK OF THAT FEELING?

Are you sick of feeling guilt, shame, insecurity, low self-worth, loneliness, anger, overwhelmed, frustrated, like a failure, or stuck in a negative cycle? Are you tired of not doing what you want to do, think, or feel, and doing what you don’t want to do, think, or feel? Have you hit rock bottom?

If you answered “yes”, you are in a much better place than it seems like you are, because when you are fed up with that feeling, you are ready to change. If you answered “no”, but you know in your heart that you should be saying “yes”, try a quick mental exercise: picture your life if you do not ever change or your situation gets worse. How would you feel? Picture the end of your life: what you did, where you lived, relationships you had, regrets you have, etc. How would your life have been different if you had changed all those years ago to get out of that negative pattern that consumed the rest of your life? Meditate and pray on the pattern you are currently in that you start to become physically sick thinking about it.

Now, give up your expectations and the end result of your circumstances to God, trusting Him as the source of the love, joy, peace, and faith that you will need to turn your life around and reprogram to the path of love rather than your current path of fear. Commit to this change now, before you can have any more regrets, and accept that your willpower is not enough. You will have to seek right relationship with God above all else, and He will make your paths straight.
