Meli and I started with a look into her childhood and what lead her to becoming an Athletic Equipment Manager.

We discussed the need for help with the crisis happening on our college campus and the nation with Suicide of young Athletes. The quest to be perfect. Talked about the role of an Athletic Manager and where she the vision of the position in college sports. Also, the need to elevate our role in the mind and thoughts of Administrators who lead departments. To change the idea that are line item on a spreadsheet . Stop the devaluation of the profession that we hold so dear in out hearts.  Plus, the role we may play the Federal Government , to bring more safety the Youth and High school sports. Finally, a hint on what agenda may be as the incoming President of the Athletic Equipment Manger Association.
