The rock band Sevendust, not known for cover songs, recently released a sample from their forthcoming new album 'Blood & Stone' to be released October 23rd. The track is a cover of Soundgarden's 'The Day I Tried To Live' and is a unique translation in this BLM world.
Check out this introspective interview with Lajon Witherspoon, singer for Sevendust describing why the band choose to cover this song and his relationship (or lack thereof) with the late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell.
