The City of Philadelphia – Division of Aviation, which operates the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and the Northeast Philadelphia Airport (PNE), is currently a division of the City’s Department of Commerce. In May 2022, the Philadelphia City Council approved a ballot measure that would create a standalone Department of Aviation.
